We travelled to this client to fix their 2020 Winnebago Tour that had a loose, rattling plexiglass window in the main door as it comes from the factory. The customer hated having to hear it rattle all the time and was afraid it was going to fall out and he’d lose it on a trip.
You can see in the pictures he was so afraid of losing it he used duct tape to hold it place, which looks both bad and wrong.
Our solution was to put a three-sixteenths inch tempered glass with a privacy tint, in the door, replacing the inadequate plexiglass that comes stock.
Now it looks clean and beautiful the way the factory should have done it right the first time.
These Class-C Winnebago have a real problem with that glass coming loose because plexiglass doesn’t stick to the glue properly. The Navlon model has been known to have issues as well.
