New View Auto Glass was called to perform a mobile windshield installation for a 2007 Fleetwood Revolution. Upon inspection, the technicians discovered significant rust, which meant that the installation needed to be done in-shop. They explained to the customer that the rust would need to be repaired before the new windshield could be installed. The customer agreed without hesitation and brought the RV to the shop.
Once the technicians began the work, they found that the rust damage was more severe than initially anticipated, the dashboard had to be removed. After removing the windshield, they ground down the rust, applied a primer, and prepared the area for the installation. Finally, the new windshield was installed.
Overall, this job took 5 days to complete due to the rust.
