This customer owns a two-story home in Chino Hills, CA. Unfortunately, the insulated glass in the window that faced the sun have failed over time leading to fogging and the customer could no longer see through the windows.
Thankfully, this is just the glass replacement and we did not have to replace the frames.
Many, if not most, customers don’t realize that you can replace the glass alone without having to replace the frames. If they had replaced the frames it would have been far more expensive.
This is a common problem with insulated windows from all manufacturers, no one can defy the laws of physics and the inert gases in these windows escapes which is what leads to it being replaced with regular air which contains water vapor that turns into the moisture we see as fogging.
